REPORT

2018年5月29日から6月3日までドイツ･フランクフルトで行われた、
日本映画祭「Nippon Connection」

フルートの 伊藤 むつみさんとのDuoFugaとして、Open-air(屋外)とクロージングセレモニーでの演奏をさせていただきました。
5日間に渡って日本映画の上映や日本食・和ものの出店などが立ち並び、大盛況。まさに”お祭り”という様相で、祭り好きの私は久しぶりにその血が騒ぎました。

日本での著名な監督さまや俳優の方々もいらっしゃっていたのですが、皆様のお人柄に甘え話の輪の中に入れていただき、ビールで乾杯を交わしながらフランクにお話をさせていただきました。

この映画祭のすごいところは、スタッフがほぼボランティアの一般の方々で成り立っているところ。
我々の演奏に関しても、ボランティアスタッフの皆さんが親切かつ真摯に対応してくださり、無事二つの出演を終えることができました。

人との縁。人のあたたかさ。
演奏させていただけたことももちろんですが、この二つを強く感じさせていただけたことが、今回の出演で私が得た一番の恩恵でした。
ここまで書いてきたこともすべてがこの二つへとつながります。
しかしなにより、今まで紡いできた縁によって多くの方が私たちのために集まってくださり、心からの強いエールを実際の言動に代えて私たちに与えてくださっているのを目の当たりにし、深い感動と心からの感謝を覚えました。

「おかげさまで」
日本特有の本当に美しい言葉です。
なにかが少しだけ報われたような、そんな思いを今も噛みしめています。
稀に見る多忙だったこの半月の終わりに、新しくそして貴重な出会いを多く与えてもらえた、素敵な経験ができました。
